Dr. Alfredo Arnaud

Dr. Alfredo Arnaud, Full time professor G.5, Universidad Católica del Uruguay, Researcher Level 3 of the SNI.

Alfredo Arnaud received the Graduate degree in Electronics Engineering, and the MSc, and PhD degree in electronics from the Universidad de la República, Montevideo-Uruguay, in 1996, 2000, and 2004 respectively.

Since 1997, he was involved in several research and industrial projects, in the field of CMOS analog design, and optoelectronics. In 2004, he joined the Electrical Engineering Department, Universidad Católica, Montevideo-Uruguay.

Dr. Matías Miguez

Dr. Matías Miguez, Full Time Professor G.4, Universidad Católica del Uruguay, Researcher Candidate of the SNI.

Matías R. Miguez received his PhD deggree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Nacional del Sur, Bahia Blanca, Argentina in 2016 and his MSc and Graduate degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Católica, Montevideo Uruguay in 2008 and 2005 respectively. He has also received a Graduate degree in Physics from the Universidad de la República, also in Montevideo, Uruguay in 2007.

In 2005, he joined the Electrical Engineering Department, Universidad Católica, Montevideo-Uruguay. Since 2005 he has been involved in research projects in the field of CMOS analog design and vehicular traffic modeling.

Dr. Joel Gak

Dr. Joel Gak, Full Time Professor G.4, Universidad Católica del Uruguay, Researcher Candidate of the SNI.

Joel Gak received his PhD deggree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Nacional del Sur, Bahia Blanca, Argentin in 2017 and his MSc and Graduate degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Católica in 2007 and 2010 respectively.

In 2005, he joined the Electrical Engineer Department, Universidad Católica, Montevideo-Uruguay. Since 2005, he has been involved in research projects in the field of CMOS analog and mixed mode design.

MSc. Bruno Bellini

Bruno Bellini received his MSc degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Católica in 2016; and his Graduate degree in Electronics Engineering Universidad de la República, Montevideo-Uruguay, in 2012.

Since 2014 he has been involved in research projects in the field of microelecytonics and embedded design for agro-industrial applications. He was awarded an ANII Scholarship for his Msc. program.

He is currently working for Fizzmod, Uruguay.

MSc. Rafael Puyol

Rafael Puyol received his MSc and Graduate degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Católica in 2018 and 2013 respectively.

He was awarded the scholarship "Beca Germinadores" by the UCU in 2012. He was also awarded an ANII Scholarship for the Electronics Master Degree program at UCU in 2015.

In 2012, he joined the Electrical Engineer Department, Universidad Católica, Montevideo-Uruguay. Since 2012 he has been involved in research projects in the field of noise measurment in MOS devices and EEG adquisistion systems.

In 2019 he become a Doctoral Candidate at the Université catholique de Louvain, Bélgica, where he is currently working.

Ing. Pablo O. Cayuela

Ing. Pablo O. Cayuela, Professor, Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Facultad Regional Córdoba, Argentina.

Pablo O. Cayuela received his graduate degrees in Information System Engineering and Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Facultad Regional Córdoba, Argentina, in 2002 and 2009 respectively.

In 2010 he become a Doctoral Candidate at the Universidad Católica de Córdoba, Argentina. He is a student of Alfredo Arnaud.

Ing. Emilio Alvarez

Ing. Emilio Alvarez, Full time professor, Researcher, Universidad Tecnológica Nacional Regional Buenos Aires.

Emilio Alvarez received his graduate degree in Electronics Engineer from Universidad Nacional de San Juan, in San Juan, Argentina, in 2008.

In 2010 he became a doctoral Candidate at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, Buenos Aires. He is a student of Alfredo Arnaud.

MSc. Guillermo Costa Marsiglia

Guillermo Costa received his MSc and Graduate degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Católica in 2010 and 2013 respectively.

He was awarded the scholarship "Beca de Iniciacion a la Investigacion" by the ANII in 2009.

In 2008, he joined the Electrical Engineer Department, Universidad Católica, Montevideo-Uruguay. Since 2008 he has been involved in research projects in the field of CMOS analog design and RFID for agroindustrial use.

He is currently working for Enmarco, Uruguay.

MSc. José Lasa

Msc. José Lasa received his MSc and Graduate degree in Telecomunications Engineering from the Universidad Católica in 2011 and 2009 respectively.

Since 2009, he has been involved in research projects in the field of CMOS-HV technology for implantable medical devices.

He is currently working for Walmart, Chile.

Ing. Julio Andrés Suárez

Ing. Julio Suárez received the degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Católica in 2010.

He was awarded the scholarship "Beca de Iniciacion a la Investigacion" by the ANII in 2009.

He is currently working for Energy Control Systems, International, Uruguay.

MSc. Renato Campana

MSc. Renato Campana received the Electronics Engineering degree from the Universidad Ricardo Palma, Lima-Peru in 2006 and his MSc degree from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brazil in 2010.

Since 2005 he has been involved in research projects in the field of CMOS analog and design. In 2007 he was working at the Electrical Engineering Department DIE, in the Universidad Católica del Uruguay in research projects of CMOS analog design.

He has a CADENCE certficate by the Brazilian IC program at CT1-NSCAD-Porto Alegre. He is currently working at a Universidad Tecnológica del Peru en Lima.

Ing. Martín Bremermann

Ing. Martín Bremermann received the degree in Electronics Engineering from the Universidad Católica in 2007.

Since 2005, he has been involved in research projects in the field of CMOS analog design.

He is currently working for Black & Veatch, Chile.

Ing. Leonardo Agis finished his undergraduate thesis in microelectronics in 2016. Currently doing a master´s degree in microelectronics.

MSc. Fabian Torres finished his undergraduate thesis in microelectronics in 2017, and his master degree thesis in 2020. Currently doing a doctorate degree in electrical and electronics engineering.

Ing. Rafi Sahakian finished his undergraduate thesis in microelectronics in 2015.

Ing. Stephania Rezk finished his undergraduate thesis in microelectronics in 2013.

Ing. Sabrina Bottigelli finished his undergraduate thesis in microelectronics in 2013.
