μDIE is the name of microelectronics and IoT workgroup in the Electric Engineering Department, in the Universidad Católica del Uruguay.

Our main areas of research are analog and mixed digital-analog integrated circuit design for implantable medical devices among others, MOS transistor modeling and low noise designs.

In μDIE we have the experience and a basic tool set for the design and characterization of application-specific integrated circuits or ASICs.

μDIE jointly organized with GME-IIE the 5th Argentine School of Micro-Nanoelectronics, Technology and Applications (EAMTA 2010) and its associated Conference (CAMTA-CUMTA 2010) which took place from October 1 - 9, 2010 in Montevideo, Uruguay. I has also organized the 6th IEEE Latin American Symposium on Circuits and Systems (LASCAS) and the XXI Iberchip Workshop which took place from February 24-27, 2015 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Projects of embedded systems using commercial devices have also been developed, including research in applications for the agro-industry.
